The Smart Money Tracks research program combs through volumes of SEC filings to identify any meaningful transactions made by high ranking corporate executives or our select group of the most successful outside investors. These outside investors include buyout firms, venture capitalists, and influential private investors. We believe these investors have access to the highest level of information, which gives them a decided edge in the financial markets.
These investors tend to hold a high degree of concentration in their portfolios and take a more pro-active day to day role in managing their holdings than a mutual fund holding 1500 stocks.
